The Need For Educational Support

Most African countries are making good progress overall towards improving quality eduation.  However, there remains a huge unmet need to improve access to primary education for individuals living in rural areas and for those from poor families.  Although the net primary school enrollment rate has increased across most African countries, the completion rate is a mere 62%.2

A lack of necessary school supplies is among the factors that prevent students from beginning or staying in school.  We address this barrier by collecting and providing school supplies to schools, both at the primary and secondary level.  With improved access to educational opportunities, African youth will have a better foundation for securing a brighter future and contributing to the development of their families, communities, and countries.
